About MyThali Arogya World
MyThali by Arogya World (a US-based NGO) is committed to revolutionizing Indiaโs eating habits through simple, practical changes to prevent non-communicable diseases (NCDs). From 2020 - 2025, we achieved an impact engagement of over 14 million and a reach of over a billion, empowering individuals and communities to adopt healthier practices. By combining grassroots initiatives with innovative digital campaigns, we are building a sustainable culture of health and wellness across the country.
This RunInRed event is a part of MyThali`s annual RedForHer challenge that raises awareness for women`s heart health. We have reached 37 million with over 2.5 million engagement through our various interventions, and were awarded `Health Awareness Campaign of the Year` by ET Healthcare Awards in 2024.
About Our Partnerย ย
Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women (mLAC), established in 1972 by Dr. K.N.V. Sastri, was founded to advance womenโs education in North Bangalore. Starting with only 12 students, it is supported by key figures like Dr. M.N. Mahadevan and Shri T.S. Rajam. Located near prestigious institutes like IISc, it benefits from a rich academic environment.
Today, mLAC has grown into a leading autonomous institution, offering Pre-University to PhD programs. It holds an NAAC โAโ grade accreditation, UGC Autonomous Status, and recognitions such as College with Potential for Excellence (CPE), DBT-STAR College, and DST-FIST support. With around 3,000 current students and over 50,000 graduates in 53 years, the college continues to empower women, producing confident graduates who contribute significantly to society.
