Itinerary:
Day 0 - Departure
We will pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.
> 08:00 PM: Start from MG Road
> 08:10 PM: Next stop Halasuru
> 08:20 PM: Assemble at Indira Nagar
> 08:40 PM: Picking up at Tin Factory
> 09:00 PM: Meet us at Marathahalli
> 09:20 PM: Join at Bellandur
> 09:40 PM: Board at Silk Board
> 10:00 PM: Last pickup at Electronic City
Start your journey from Bangalore to Munnar at 08:00 PM. The distance is approximately 470 km and the journey takes around 9 hours by road. You will reach Munnar early in the morning.
Day 1 - Munnar's Natural Wonders
> 08:00 AM: Reach Munnar.
> 08:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Check in to the campsite and relax.
> 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Have breakfast.
> 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Enjoy self sponsored kayaking and zipline activities near the river and return to the campsite.
> 12:30 PM - 01:30 PM: Visit the Tea Factory.
> 01:30 PM - 02:30 PM: Have self sponsored lunch.
> 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM: Trek to Phantom Hills Sunset Point and enjoy the sunset before returning to the campsite.
> 07:00 PM: Enjoy the campfire have dinner and retire for the night.
Day 2 - High Altitude Adventures and Wildlife Exploration
Note: Kolukkumalai sunrise timings depend on jeep availability.
Slot 1: 04:30 AM.
Slot 2: 08:30 AM.
> 03:30 AM - 09:30 AM: Visit Kolukkumalai the world's highest tea estate. Self sponsored jeep ride.
> 06:15 AM - 07:30 AM: Enjoy the sunrise and scenic landscapes.
> 07:30 AM - 09:30 AM: Visit Jaguar Rock Viewpoint and return to the campsite.
> 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Have breakfast.
> 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Visit Signal Point.
> 12:00 PM - 01:30 PM: Visit Mattupetty Dam.
> 02:00 PM - 03:30 PM: Have self sponsored lunch and enjoy shopping for tea leaves handmade chocolates aromatic oils and local spices.
> 04:00 PM - 06:00 PM: Enjoy the self sponsored Kalaripayattu Show.
> 06:30 PM: Return to the homestay have dinner and retire for the night.
Day 3 - National Park Waterfalls and the Dam
> 07:00 AM - 09:00 AM: Freshen up have breakfast and check out.
> 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Visit the Chocolate Factory.
> 12:00 PM - 02:30 PM: Enjoy a self sponsored jeep safari at Eravikulam National Park.
> 02:30 PM - 04:00 PM: Have self sponsored lunch.
> 04:00 PM - 06:00 PM: Visit Lakkom Waterfalls and enjoy a refreshing dip.
> 06:30 PM: Begin the journey back to Bengaluru.
> 09:00 PM: Have self sponsored dinner.
Day 4 - Back to Bengaluru
> 05:00 AM: Reach Bengaluru.
> Drop off points will be the same as the pick up points. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.
