Day 0 - Journey to Chikmagalur
As the sun sets over Bengaluru our adventure begins as we head towards Chikmagalur. We will embark on a comfortable journey of approximately 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or Mini Bus with push-back seats ensuring a comfortable ride for our travelers.
We`ll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations:
> 10:00 PM: Start from Banashankari
> 10:15 PM: Quick pickup at BTM Layout
> 10:30 PM: Next stop Silk Board
> 10:45 PM: Board at Bellandur
> 11:00 PM: Assemble at Marathalli
> 11:30 PM: Pickup at Tin Factory
> 11:50 PM: Picking up at Indira Nagar
> 12:00 AM: Meet us at Halasuru
> 12:10 AM: Join at MG Road
> 12:30 AM: Board at Mekhri Circle
> 12:40 AM: Quick pickup at Yeshwanthpura
> 12:50 AM: Last pickup at Goraguntepalya
Note: Travel time may vary depending on traffic and road conditions. We will ensure all locations mentioned in the itinerary are covered.
Day 1 - From Sunrise to Sunset: A Journey Through Chikmagalur`s Peaks and Valleys
Start your day in the refreshing highlands of Chikmagalur arriving at approximately 06:00 AM.
> 06:00 AM - 09:00 AM: Check in to the accommodation freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
Note 1: Check-in time may vary depending on the accommodation. If early check-in is not available we will proceed with the jeep ride first.
Note 2: Jeep ride is self sponsored and mandatory for all participants.
> 09:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Start the jeep ride self sponsored.
> 10:00 AM - 02:30 PM: Explore Mullayanagiri Honnammana Halla Falls Baba Budangiri and Z Point.
> 02:30 PM - 03:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant self sponsored.
> 04:00 PM - 06:00 PM: Visit Hirekolale Lake and enjoy the spectacular sunset.
> 06:30 PM: Return to the accommodation enjoy campfire stories have dinner and relax for the night.
Day 2 - Waterfalls for the Eyes Temples for the Soul and Back to Bengaluru
> 09:00 AM: Freshen up have breakfast and check out from the accommodation.
> 10:00 AM - 01:00 PM: Visit Yagachi Dam and enjoy water sports self sponsored.
> 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM: Have lunch on the way to Belur self sponsored.
> 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM: Visit the magnificent Chennakeshava Temple in Belur.
> 03:00 PM - 04:00 PM: Explore the historic Hoysaleshwara Temple in Halebeedu.
> 04:00 PM: Depart for Bengaluru.
> 08:00 PM: Dinner stop en route self sponsored.
> 10:00 PM: Arrive in Bengaluru.
Drop-off Points:
The drop-off points will be the same as the pickup points for your convenience. Please ensure you have collected all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.
Once you reach your drop-off point it is time to head home take a well-deserved rest and start planning your next adventure.
