Schedule


Day 1st

• 6.30 PM – Report at station

• 6.45 PM – Board train for Lonavala

• 8.30 PM – Reach base village

• 9.00 PM – Take jeep / bus to base village

• 9.30 PM – Start the trek

• 10.00 PM – Reach campsite, pitch tents and have dinner

• Campfire, fun, horror stories, stargazing and free time


Day 2nd

• 6.30 AM – Wake up, freshen up and click pictures

• Watch beautiful sunrise and panoramic view of Khandala ghat

• 7.30 AM – Start return trek and reach base village

• 8.30 AM – Take jeep / bus back to station

• 9.00 AM – Breakfast

• 10.00 AM – Board train to Pune

• 12.00 PM – Reach Pune (± 1 hour)



Meeting Point

• Pick-up will be from the railway station (reporting point shared before departure)



Things to Carry

• ID Proof

• 3 liters water

• Dinner (Unless mentioned in INCLUDED Section)

• Trekking Shoes

• Enerzyl powder or Glucon D powder

• Extra pair of clothing

• Raincoat / Poncho / Wind cheater / Umbrella (Avoid these only for monsoon)

• Cap, sunglasses, scarf

• Please carry personal medicines (if any)

• Single rucksack

• Light snacks

• Torch (only for night treks)

• Winter wear (Depending on season)

• Shawls or blankets (only for night treks / backpacking trips / and camping)

• Personal hygiene kit

• Mosquito repellent cream and sanitizer



Please Note

• Please do not carry or wear valuables, ornaments or jewellery. The organisers will not be responsible for loss or damage.

• Trekking and camping are adventure activities and involve inherent risk. Participation is at your own responsibility.

• Seats in the train and local vehicles are subject to availability and operational arrangements.



Terms and Conditions

• Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited. If found, team United Travellers of India has the right to terminate participation immediately without any refund.

• Throwing garbage or littering is strictly not allowed.

• Participants must carry their own waste.

• Playing loud music in the mountains is prohibited.

• Writing on or damaging natural or heritage sites is prohibited.

• Tent allocation will be done by team captains and no special requests will be entertained.

• Pick-up and drop will be at the same location.

• Team captains’ decisions in any situation will be final for the mutual benefit of all participants.

• In case of any injury, illness or emergency during the trek or camping, the organisers or local staff will not be responsible for medical or evacuation expenses.

• Weather conditions or unforeseen situations may require changes in the itinerary and no refund will be applicable in such cases.



Cancellation Policy

• NO REFUND ON CANCELLATIONS

• No Show – No Refund

• Event tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation

• If the event gets cancelled, only the “Trek Amount” will be refunded (tax amount is non-refundable)

• In the event of cancellation due to natural calamities, political unrest or other unforeseen circumstances beyond control, no monetary refund will be given

• Once the trek or journey has commenced, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances
