About The Event

Kaas Plateau Flower Tour from Mumbai by Mumbai Travel Club takes you on an overnight travel experience to Maharashtra`s UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Guided by Mumbai Travel Club, this tour lets you discover the seasonal wildflower bloom of Kas Plateau near Satara.

Located in the Western Ghats near Satara, Kas Plateau (Kaas Pathar) transforms into a carpet of endemic wildflowers during the late monsoon season. To help you avoid peak daytime crowds and experience the plateau in the morning light, this trip departs from Mumbai on an overnight AC bus journey. Participants explore designated trails, view endemic floral species, visit Kumudini Lake, and enjoy local Maharashtrian food. Note

Events like the Kaas Tour depend on nature. For eg natural things like snowfall, rainfall, blooming of flowers, or cloud formation etc. These things are not in our control and are controlled by nature only. While we plan the trip at the right season, nature can change suddenly. For example, flowers may bloom early, late, or sometimes get damaged due to heavy rain or no rain. Because of this, the flower blooming and number of flowers sighted on a given day is not controlled by us. Kindly have realistic expectations when it comes to flower sighting.
