Itinerary:
Day 0: Journey to Kodaikanal
Meet at the chosen starting point in Bengaluru and embark on your journey to Kodaikanal via private transportation.
We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.
> 08:00 PM: Start from MG Road
> 08:10 PM: Next stop. Halasuru
> 08:20 PM: Assemble at Indira Nagar
> 08:40 PM: Picking up at Tin Factory
> 09:00 PM: Meet us at Marathahalli
> 09:20 PM: Join at Bellandur
> 09:40 PM: Board at Silk Board
> 10:00 PM: Last pickup at Electronic City
Note: Start your journey from Bangalore to Kodaikanal at 10 PM. The distance is approximately 465 km and it takes around 9 hours by road. You will arrive in Kodaikanal early in the morning.
Day 1: Caves Observatory and Sunset
> 09:00 AM: Reach Homestay freshen up and have breakfast (Self Sponsored).
Note: A short 1 km nature walk from the parking area takes you to our stay property. Surrounded by majestic mountain views the walk itself is part of the experience leading to a serene retreat amidst nature.
> 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM: Visit Guna Caves and indulge in cave exploration.
> 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM: Visit Pine Forest for a photo session.
> 01:00 PM - 01:45 PM: Visit Moir Point.
> 02:00 PM - 03:30 PM: Visit the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory.
Please note: There are few or no restaurants available along the route so we recommend carrying sufficient snacks and water for the journey.
> 03:30 PM - 04:30 PM: Have lunch (Self Sponsored).
> 05:00 PM - 06:30 PM: Stop at the Upper Lake View Point.
> 06:30 PM: Get into the vehicle to reach the campsite. Have dinner (Self Sponsored) on the way. Enjoy the night by sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Retire for the night.
Day 2: Falls Boating and View Point
> 05:00 AM - 05:30 AM: Wake up call and freshen up.
> 05:30 AM - 08:00 AM: Head to Dolphin Nose by walk (1 KM) and enjoy the beautiful sunrise.
> 08:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Head back to homestay freshen up checkout of homestay and have breakfast (Self Sponsored) on the way.
> 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Visit Coaker's Walk.
> 12:00 PM - 02:00 PM: Visit Kodaikanal Lake for boating (Self Sponsored).
> 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM: Have lunch (Self Sponsored).
> 04:00 PM - 05:30 PM: Visit Silver Cascade Falls.
> 05:30 PM: Depart to Bangalore and have dinner (Self Sponsored) on the way.
Day 3: Back to Bangalore
> 05:00 AM: Arrive in Bangalore. The drop-off points will be the same as the pickup points.
