Itinerary :
Day 0: Journey to Kodaikanal
Meet at the chosen starting point in Bengaluru and embark on your journey to Kodaikanal via private transportation.
We`ll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.
▪️08:00 PM: Start from MG Road
▪️08:10 PM: Next stop, Halasuru
▪️08:20 PM: Assemble at Indira Nagar
▪️08:40 PM: Picking up at Tin Factory
▪️09:00 PM: Meet us at Marathahalli
▪️09:20 PM: Join at Bellandur
▪️09:40 PM: Board at Silk Board
▪️10:00 PM: Last pickup at Electronic City
Note: Start your journey from Bangalore to Kodaikanal at 10PM. The distance is approximately 465 km and it takes around 9 hours by road. You will arrive in Kodaikanal early in the morning.
Day 1: Caves, Observatory and Sunset!
▪️ 09:00 AM: Reach Homestay, freshen up and have breakfast *Self Sponsored
*Note:* A short 1 km nature walk from the parking area takes you to our stay property. Surrounded by majestic mountain views, the walk itself is part of the experience, leading to a serene retreat amidst nature.
▪️11:00 AM - 11.45 AM: Visit Guna Caves and indulge in cave exploration
▪️12:00 PM - 12.45 PM: Visit Pine Forest for a photo session
▪️01:00 PM - 01:45 PM: Visit Moir Point
▪️02:00 PM - 03:30 PM: Visit the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory
Please note: There are few or no restaurants available along the route, so we recommend carrying sufficient snacks and water for the journey.
▪️03:30 PM - 04:30 PM: Have Lunch *Self Sponsored
▪️05:00 PM - 06:30 PM: Stop at the Upper Lake View Point
▪️06:30 pm: Get into the vehicle to reach the campsite, have dinner *Self Sponsored on the way. Enjoy the night by sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Retire for the night.
Day 2: Falls, Boating and View Point
▪️05:00 AM - 05:30 AM: Wake up call and freshen up
▪️05:30 AM - 08:00 AM: Head to Dolphin Nose by Walk(1KM) and enjoy the beautiful sunrise
▪️08:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Head back to homestay, freshen up, checkout of homestay and have breakfast *Self Sponsored on the way
▪️10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Visit the Coakers Walk
▪️12:00 PM - 02:00 PM: Visit the Kodaikanal Lake for boating *Self Sponsored
▪️02:00 PM - 03:00 PM: Have Lunch *Self Sponsored
▪️04:00 PM - 05:30 PM: Visit the Silver Cascade Falls
▪️05:30 PM: Depart to Bangalore and have dinner *Self Sponsored on the way
Day 3: Back to Bangalore
▪️ 05:00 AM: Arrive in Bangalore. The drop-off points will be the same as the pickup points.
