Located at a distance of 96 km from the district of Chikmagalur, this Kudremukh trekking would let you explore the forests which are spread over an area of 600 sq km. Hike to reach an altitude of 6,207ft. above sea level and witness the unbounded natural scenes that adorn Kudremukh. This fun-filled Kudremukh trek begins with an overnight journey from Bangalore.

Day 1 - Bangalore to Kudremukh
Transfers from bangalore to Kudremukh
On Friday, Get picked up in Bangalore from the following points and start your Kudremukh trekking tour. The exact pick-up location and time will be confirmed after the booking.

Yeshwantpur
Gorgunte Palya
Begin your overnight journey to Kudremukh.
Day 2 - Day of the trek
Trek Day stay at Kudremukh Homestay or Camping
On the first day of your Kudremukh trek, you will reach Kudremukh National Park around 06:00 AM.
After having breakfast, we will reach the base camp.
By 09:00 AM, we will start trekking to the top of Kudremukh Peak which is around 22 KM both ways.
En route to the peak, have lunch midway.
Once we reach the top, all of us can enjoy the relishing view of the serenity the peak has to offer.
Return to the base camp around 06:00 PM after a trek to Kudremukh.
Enjoy the bonfire.
Have the lip-smacking dinner and retire for the night.
Day 3 - Sightseeing and return back to bangalore
Around 08:00 AM, you will grab a scrumptious breakfast.
Start from Kudremukh National Park and head to visit the Somavathi waterfall
Enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the waterfall and calm your soul.
Enroute visit Samse Tea Estate
Around 1:00 PM Visit Belur Temple before heading towards a nearby restaurant for lunch
Have a self-sponsored lunch on the way back from the Kudremukh trek.
Return to Bangalore midnight or early morning and get back home with splendid memories.
Things to Carry
Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters
Extra set of clothes (if necessary)
A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore
Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)
Cap/hat
Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
Raincoat or a poncho
Personal medication if any
A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
Please don’t carry these this while trekking;
1) Plastic Water Bottles (refilling to non-plastic bottles is available)
2) Plastic Lunch Box. (Carry one empty non-plastic Tiffin/Lunch Box)
3) Carrying Snacks is allowed only without any plastic wrappers while trekking.

Camera/DSLR (if interested)

Note 1: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 505.
Note 2: Kindly book in advance to secure forest permits. Limited slots will be available – early confirmation is highly recommended!

Cancellation Policy:
If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get canceled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same. If there is any cancellation of the trek then while doing the refund 3% payment gateway charges will be deducted.
Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.
