Mandaragiri Hill is a peaceful and beginner-friendly sunrise trek near Bangalore, located close to Tumkur. It is known for its scenic hilltop views, rocky trails, and beautiful early morning sunrise experience.
The trek is short and easy, making it perfect for weekend travellers, families, and first-time trekkers. After reaching the summit, trekkers can enjoy panoramic views and explore the famous Jain Temple along with the unique peacock-shaped temple structure nearby.

Itinerary:
•Day 0: Departure From Bangalore
11:30 PM: Pick up starts from Bangalore
Day 1 Sunrise Trek & Return
3:30 AM – Arrive at base and prep for the trek
4:30 AM – Begin easy ascent (around 400 steps) to the top
5:30 AM – Witness the stunning sunrise with panoramic views
Explore the peaceful Jain temple, lake, and peacock feather dome
Relax and enjoy the serenity
7:30 AM – Descend and head to a local restaurant
8:30 AM – Enjoy a tasty South Indian breakfast.
10:00 AM – Depart for Bangalore
12:00 PM – Reach Bangalore with great memories
