About The Event
Discover the wild side of Mumbai's coastline with Wild Mumbai!
What lies beneath the garbage scattered across our beaches?
Plastic waste, discarded fishing nets, and piles of garbage are a familiar sight along Mumbai's coastline sadly. But while we notice the pollution, we often overlook the extraordinary marine life struggling to survive alongside it.
There's more to a beach than sand and waves. Join Wild Mumbai for a guided marine walk at Juhu Beach and discover the fascinating life hidden along Mumbai's shoreline.
From crabs and molluscs to other marine invertebrates, we'll explore the creatures that inhabit the intertidal zone, understand how they survive changing tides, and learn why healthy coastal ecosystems matter to our city.
This is a relaxed, educational outdoor experience suitable for curious beginners, families, and nature enthusiasts. No prior knowledge of marine life is required.
