NMIC is a prestigious museum dedicated to preserving and showcasing the heritage of India. The museum hosts vast collection of exhibits including artifacts, memorabilia, film screenings, interactive displays covering different eras and aspects of cinemas. NMIC’s chronicles of timeless treasures: get a chance to watch a classic free on every Saturday at 4 PM only at national musuem of Indian cinema Mumbai exclusively only for our museum visitors.

Smoking/ consumption of liquor is prohibited in the premises
Filming/photography inside museum not allowed without permission.
No bags/ backpacks alowed can be kept in locker available in ticket counter.
No pets allowed in museum.
Food and beverages not allowed in museum.
No arms/ammunition explosive items etc allowed.
Carrying plastic bottles and littering is not allowed.
Visitors may allow frisking/ checking of belongings by the designated staff for security purpose.
Visitors need to start the tour from gulshan mahal and then continue to new building.
Visitors are not allowed to touch or damage any artifacts or equipments.
Digital screens may be used carefully to have a note with a rough use may be avoided.
