About The Event

Join naturalist and researcher Meehir Pawar for a guided natural history walk through one of Mumbai's richest green spaces. As we explore the forest, we will uncover the fascinating interactions between plants, insects, spiders, birds, fungi, and other organisms that together form the intricate web of life.

Why do flowers attract insects? How do plants defend themselves from herbivores? What role do spiders, fungi, and pollinators play in maintaining healthy ecosystems? Through careful observation and discussion, we will explore pollination, seed dispersal, predation, camouflage, mimicry, mutualism, and other ecological interactions that shape the natural world around us.

This is a slow-paced, interpretive nature walk with frequent stops to observe, discuss, photograph, and appreciate nature. Rather than focusing solely on species identification, the emphasis is on understanding the behaviours, ecological relationships, and natural history that connect living organisms.
