About Netravathi-
The Netravati Trek is located in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, near the town of Dharmasthala. The trek typically spans a distance of around 14 kilometers (round trip), taking hikers through dense forests, scenic landscapes, and the banks of the Netravati River. The trail offers a moderate level of difficulty, making it suitable for both experienced trekkers and nature lovers. The trek`s endpoint is often at the source of the Netravati River, a serene and beautiful spot.

Important Guidelines for Trek Reservations
As per the latest guidelines, the following treks require individuals to book their ticket reservations online at Kudremukha National Park:

Why Does Jungle Tour No Longer Handle Permit Bookings?
No organization is allowed to book permits for individuals. If any organization claims to do so, ensure you receive a PDF copy of the ticket reservation before proceeding with booking the trek.
Simple Booking Process:
Receive your ticket reservation from the forest department portal by your self. Book your trek package with us on our website.
Note 1: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 505.
Note 2: Kindly book in advance to secure forest permits. Limited slots will be available – early confirmation is highly recommended!

Day 1 - Overnight Journey to Netravathi Base
Transfers from bangalore to Nethravathi
On Friday, Get picked up in Bangalore from the following points and start your Nethravathi trekking tour. The exact pick-up location and time will be confirmed after the booking.
Indiranagar
Domlur
Yeshwantpur
Gorgunte Palya
Begin your overnight journey to Nethravathi.
Day 2 - Day of the trek
Trek Day, stay at Homestay
Homestay
one can opt to stay in Dorm or twin sharing Tents
All Meals(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Reach Kudremukh National Park around 6:00 AM on Saturday.
Have your breakfast and reach the base camp.
At 9:00 AM, start the trek to Netravathi Peak, where you will cover a distance of 16 km (both ways).
On your way to the peak, stop for the lunch.
Soak in the serene views from the peak.
At 6:00 PM, you will reach the base camp again.
Enjoy the bonfire.
Savor the delicious dinner and retire for the night.
Day 3 - Sightseeing and return back to bangalore
(Breakfast included)
Around 08:00 AM, you will grab a scrumptious breakfast.
Start from Kudremukh National Park and head to visit the Somavathi waterfall
Enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the waterfall and calm your soul.
Enroute visit Samse Tea Estate
Around 1:00 PM Visit Belur Temple before heading towards a nearby restaurant for lunch
Have a self-sponsored lunch on the way back from the Kudremukh trek.
Return to Bangalore around 10:00 PM and get back home with splendid memories.
Things to Carry
Strong backpack for trekking
Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters
Extra set of clothes (if necessary)
A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore
Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)
Cap/hat
Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
Raincoat or a poncho
Personal medication if any
A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
Please don’t carry these this while trekking;1) Plastic Water Bottles (refilling to non-plastic bottles is available)2) Plastic Lunch Box.
(Carry one empty non-plastic Tiffin/Lunch Box)3) Carrying Snacks is allowed only without any plastic wrappers while trekking. ( Fill ur snacks into the box without wrappers)All these instructions applies only on first day of trekking

Note - If a booking is made within 5 hours of the scheduled departure, Contact us it will either be confirmed or not for that departure or moved to the next available departure one, depending on availability and service policies.
Cancellation Policy:
If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or reservation not done or government restrictions certain trips or activities may get canceled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same. If there is any cancellation of the trek then while doing the refund 3% payment getway charges will be deducted.
Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.
