About The Event
There is something magical about history after dusk.
Join us for a special Night Heritage Walk at Humayun's Tomb and Museum, where we will wander through one of Delhi's most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage sites under the evening sky.
Curated by Darwesh Heritage Walks in collaboration with Sabhyata Foundation.
Inside the museum, we will go beyond dates and dynasties to uncover the fascinating life of Emperor Humayun his triumphs and setbacks, his years of exile, his remarkable return to power, and the many stories that shaped both the man and his magnificent mausoleum.
As we explore, we will also delve into the exquisite architecture of the complex the Persian inspirations, the symbolism, the craftsmanship, and the innovations that would later culminate in the Taj Mahal.
And then comes the most enchanting moment of the evening: witnessing Humayun's Tomb bathed in light. Since this is a night walk, visitors are not permitted to approach certain areas around the main mausoleum. Instead, we will admire the brilliantly illuminated, mesmerizing monument from a distance its glowing silhouette against the night sky creating a sight that is both serene and unforgettable.
Come, spend an evening where history whispers, stone remembers, and the night lends a touch of magic to an emperor eternal resting place.
