Stargazing Mumbai brings you its flagship experience, the Overnight Stargazing Session at Mahuli Village, Asangaon, proudly organised for over 15 years.
Just 2 hours from the bustling city of Mumbai, this immersive experience offers a perfect escape into the cosmos for astronomy enthusiasts of all ages. Learn to identify basic constellations and understand celestial objects, making astronomy engaging, accessible and unforgettable for everyone.

Itinerary for Stargazing at Mahuli
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Reach Asangaon Railway Station.
Participants travelling by private vehicle must reach the Stargazing Mumbai Observation Site before 6:00 PM.
6:15 PM: Depart for Mahuli Village.
7:00 PM: Arrive at the Stargazing Mumbai Mahuli Observation Site.
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Registration.
8:00 PM to 8:15 PM: Orientation and introduction to the night sky.
8:15 PM to 9:00 PM: Constellation Session One. Learn about the constellations visible in the evening sky.
9:00 PM to 10:00 PM: Telescope Viewing Session One. Observe planets, galaxies, nebulae, star clusters and other celestial objects through our large telescopes.
10:00 PM to 11:30 PM: Dinner Break.
11:30 PM to 1:00 AM: Astronomy talk by an expert, followed by a question and answer session.
1:30 AM to 2:00 AM: Tea Break.
2:00 AM to 2:45 AM: Constellation Session Two. Learn about the constellations visible in the midnight sky.
2:45 AM to 4:00 AM: Telescope Viewing Session Two.
4:00 AM: Event concludes.
Important Information
The itinerary and stargazing activities are subject to clear sky conditions. In case of cloudy skies, the organisers may not be able to conduct the planned observations. Refunds will not be provided in such circumstances.
