Ratangad is a fort in Ratanwadi, Maharashtra, India, overlooking the locale of Bhandardara, one of the oldest artificial catchment area. This fort is located in the Ahmadnagar district of Maharashtra. It is on the boundary of Ahmadnagar and Thane districts. The fort is about 400 years old. This fort is often covered with flowering plants in November. Ratangad is also called Jewel of the Sahyadris.
Ratan means Jewel in Hindi. This hill fort is indeed jewel in all the hill forts here in Sahyadri. It is located in the district of Ahmednagar and is located about 4255 feet above sea level. It lies in the Ajoba mountain range surrounded by great mountains of Kulang, Alang, Kalsubai, Katarabai, Ajoba and Ghanchakkar. Geographically Ratangad is at the banks of Bhandardara lake of Ahmednagar district. With views of lake and highest mountains in Sahyadris looks very much lost in time.

09:30 AM - Reach the top and explore the top click pictures of the flowers.
12:00 PM - Reach the base village and have Lunch
03:00 PM - Return journey begins for Mumbai
08:00 PM - Approx. arrival at Mumbai.

11:30 pm-Assemble at Kasara Railway Station near Ticket counter.

Introduction and have Tea and breakfast
04:00 am-Start Ratangad trek with Full energy and Fun
07:00 am - Reach Ratangad trek top. Explore and beautifull Folwers patches
08:30 am - Start descending to base village
12:00 pm - Reach Base village and enjoy delicious lunch made by villagers
01:00 pm - Travel back to kasara Railway Station.
03:00 pm - Reach Kasara railway station and
disperse.

1) The trek leader holds the right to make any changes in the program or schedule without any prior notice. Participants will have to bear extra charges if any, unavoidable expenses occurred due to change in program or natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc.
2) Don`t bring valuable things like gold or any jewelry or High-value mobile phones.
3) Consumption of Alcohol strictly banned on Trek. In case found guilty, strict actions will be taken.
4) If any natural calamity happens or any accident, death, illness occurred, the Organiser is not responsible for any loss of thing or human being.
5) Cancellation Charges Rs. 500/- Strictly Applicable under any circumstances.
