Skandagiri,also historically known as Kalwarbetta or Kalavara Durga is a mountain fortress located around 70 km from Bangalore. This tiring yet much rewarding trek takes you through a spectacular journey amidst the wilderness. Starting by 11 pm from Bangalore, reach the base point by midnight and hereby begins the night trek. The serene and sublime atmosphere around Skandagiri will definitely boost up your adrenaline. This 8km trek can easily be completed within 4 to 5 hours of ascending and descending.Perfectly Suggested for the trekkers who are looking for Moderate/ Challenge Trek Around Bangalore.

Category A : With Transport 11:00PM onwards

Itinerary : 

● 11:00 PM Pick up starts from Bangalore

● 3:00 AM : Those who have chosen their own mode of transport have to reach by the time. 

● 03:30 AM Reach Skandagiri base 

● 04:00 AM Start the hike to peak Skandagiri 

● 05:30 AM Finish the hike, relax 

● 06:30 AM Relax until sunrise 

● 07:00 AM Descend towards the base 

● 09:00 AM Head to the nearby restaurant. Freshen up & have breakfast(Self Sponsered)

● 10:30 AM Head back to Bangalore 

● 01:30 PM Reach Bangalore

● Marathahalli (1:00AM) – Opposite to Kalamandir 

● Tin Factory (01:20AM) – Bus Stop 

● Hebbal Opp Esteem Mall – (1:45AM) 

Drop points are same as the pickup points 

Once you’ve booked your tickets, we will reach out to you and provide you wiith more information like exact pick-up times, exact location and more on Whatsapp. Any changes in Pick Up locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip. 

Things To Carry

▪️Hand Sanitisers and gloves to keep our hands clean / Safe 

▪️Any one soft copy of GOVT ID proofs - Will be checked at the entrance by the Govt officers 

▪️Comfortable clothes to be worn during the trek 

▪️Good sports shoes or trekking shoes to be Worn Compulsorily ▪️Flashlight/Torch with extra batteries Mandatory

▪️Camera (optional) 

Small Backpack to carry below essentials 

▪️2L Water bottles 

▪️Energy bars 

▪️Personal medication or A First Aid Kit 

▪️Sweater/ jackets for the night. 

▪️Raincoat/Poncho (if it looks rainy)
