About The Event

Kalsubai Monsoon Trek (Highest Peak in Maharashtra)

The Kalsubai Peak Trek takes you to the highest peak in Maharashtra, standing at 5,400 ft (1,646 m) above sea level in the Ahmednagar district. Named after the local deity Kalsubai Devi, the summit is home to a small temple that attracts thousands of devotees and trekkers throughout the year. During the monsoon, the trail comes alive with lush green meadows,

mist-covered hills, seasonal waterfalls, and cool mountain weather, making it one of the most popular weekend treks near Mumbai and Pune.

Standing on the summit rewards trekkers with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Sahyadri mountain ranges. On a clear day, you can spot famous forts and peaks such as Alang, Madan, Kulang (AMK), Ratangad, Harishchandragad, Ghanchakkar, Harihargad, and Brahmagiri. The combination of thrilling iron ladders, scenic landscapes, and panoramic mountain views makes the Kalsubai Monsoon Trek an unforgettable experience for beginners and experienced trekkers alike.
