Abhinav Singh Kashyap (Abhinav) is an Indian film director and screenwriter, born on September 6, 1974, Obra, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is the younger brother of director Anurag Kashyap. Abhinav is married to the writer Chatura Rao and the couple has two daughters. He debuted as writer in 2000 with the Bollywood movie, Jung. He made directoral debut in the year 2010 with the action film, Dabangg. He contributed to movies like Besharam and Manorama Six Feet Under.
