Anand Abhyankar (Anand), born on June 2, 1963, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, was an Indian Marathi film, television and theatre actor. He was married to Anjali Abhyankar. Anand entered in Bollywood in 1999, with the movie Vaastav: The Reality. His other Hindi films include, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain and Pappu Can't Dance Saala. Gharkool, Asambhav, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Fu Bai Fu, Mala Sasu Havi, are few of the well-known soaps in which he had appeared. Tu Tithe Mee, Ratra Aarambha, Akleche Kande, Kunku Lavte Mahercha, Balgandharva and Kokanastha, are some of his Marathi films. He died on 23 December 2012 in a car accident.
