A versatile Indian actress, Anaika Soti has worked in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. Having made her debut with the Telugu-Tamil bilingual film, Satya 2 (2013), which was directed by the acclaimed director, Ram Gopal Varma, Anaika rose to fame with her role in the Tamil period Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014). The actress who was interested in pursuing a career in fashion designing, got her maiden role in Satya 2 when she met Ram Gopal Varma on an elevator, who convinced her to consider acting and also offered a role in one of his future ventures.

Whilst, her debut film did not do much to get her any attention, her second movie not only won her wide appreciation from both the critics and the audience alike, she also won her maiden Filmfare nomination. Her other notable film credits include 365 Days (2015), Semma Botha Aagathey (2018) and Kee (2019), a Tamil sci-fi psychological thriller directed by Kalees.
