Apu Biswas, popularly known as Apu Islam Khan is a National award-winning Bangla actress who made her debut in the 2006 movie Kal Sokale. Her 2006 movie Koti Takar Kabin, where she was paired opposite Shakib Khan was declared a blockbuster and she received critical acclaim for playing the role of Simran. The duo of Apu Biswas and Shakib Khan shared great on screen chemistry and are considered to be the industry's greatest pairing. The year 2008 was yet another successful year for Apu, as all 4 of her movies namely: Amader Choto Saheb, Amar Jaan Amar Pran, Tumi Swapno Tumi Shadhona and Mone Prane Acho Tumi were declared successful with the latter being declared a blockbuster. In 2010, her fans were treated with yet another blockbuster, with the movie Bhalobaslei Ghor Bandha Jay Na. The movie won seven National Film Awards, including Best Actor and two Meril Prothom Alo Awards. Apu delivered yet another blockbuster with her 2015 movie Love Marriage.
