Popular Bangladesh film and television actor Arifin Shuvo`s showbiz career spans over a decade, during which he has appeared in several tv shows and around twenty-five feature films. He debuted with the tv series Ha/Na in 2007 and subsequently ventured into Bengali cinema with the sports drama Jaago - Dare to Dream (2010).

Three years later, Shuvo essayed the role of the main antagonist in the romantic drama Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini (2013), which earned him his first Meril Prothom Alo Awards nomination in the Best Actor category. He has since been nominated around half-a-dozen times for the Meril Prothom Alo Awards, winning thrice for the romantic thriller Taarkata (2014), the romantic drama Chuye Dile Mon (2015) and the action thriller Dhaka Attack (2017). Other significant acting credits include Agnee (2014), Musafir (2016), Ekti Cinemar Golpo (2018) and Ahaa Re (2019).
