Ashok Pati is an Indian director and screenplay and screenwriter who is noted for his work in the Odia and Bengali film industries. The writer-cum-director who is noted for making mostly Odia remakes of the Hindi and south Indian films made his directorial debut with Baazi (2001). His other notable film credits as a director include Mate Ta Love Helare (2008), Loafer (2011), Shapath (2012), Romeo vs Juliet (2015), Love Station (2016), and Sister Sridevi (2017) starring Babushan Mohanty and Shivani. Apart from direction, the Ashok also has written the screenplay for several films like Sanju Aau Sanjana (2010), Dosti (2011), Idiot: I Do Ishq Only Tumse (2012) and Deewana Deewani (2013). His other releases include Sriman Sur Das (2018) and Mr. Majnu (2019).
