Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is an Indian filmmaker and writer. After working in advertising for several years, she made her debut by directing the 2016 comedy drama Nil Battey Sannata. The film garnered critical acclaim winning her the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director and Ashwiny went on to direct its Tamil remake titled Amma Kanakku. In 2017, she made the sleeper hit romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, along with Rajkummar Rao in a significant role.

His 2020 directorial includes Panga. The movie stars Kangana Ranaut and Jassie Gill in prominent roles.
