A known personality in the south Indian industry and Gujarati theater, Avani Modi started her career as a model before eventually becoming an actress. She made her debut in 2013 with the Tamil film, Naan Rajavaga Pogiren and two years later made her foray in Bollywood with Calendar Girls directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Her 2017 release includes Carry on Kesar, a Gujarati film directed by Vipul Mehta.
