Best remembered for playing negative roles in movies, Awadhesh Mishra is a Bhojpuri film actor who made his debut in 2005 with Kukhan Harab Dukh Mor. One of the most prominent faces in Bhojpuri cinema, Awadhesh started his career as a theatre artist in Patna before bagging his debut role.

Six years after his debut, he was next seen in Dushmani in 2011 and went on to feature in Nirahua Mail, Bhaiya Hamar Dayan, Aandhi Toofan, Tiger, and Mere Sajan Tere Karan. Although he mainly plays supporting roles in movies, his work has won him widespread acclaim and recognition in the industry and he is touted as one of the best actors to play negative and villainous roles. Some of his recent works include Hunterwali, Prashasan, Nahle Pe Dahla, Sangram, Dulara, Nirahua Chalal Sasural 2, Ye Mohabbatein, Rudra, and Damru. He is associated with the 2018 Bhojpuri drama Baaghi Ishq directed by Parag Patil, Dulhin Ganga Paar Ke and Sangharsh. His 2019 project includes Patthar Ke Sanam. His 2020 release includes Romeo Raja.
