One of the most popular American animators and storyboard artists, Robert “Bob” Peterson is also a voice actor. After receiving a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Peterson began working with Wavefront Technologies and later with Rezn8 Productions. It was in 1994 that Roger Gould hired him at Pixar to work as an animator for commercials and he eventually worked on his debut movie Toy Story (1995). Peterson’s first movie as a writer was A Bug’s Life (1998) and since then he has worked as a writer on movies such as Finding Nemo (2003), Up (2009), Finding Dory (2016), and Cars 3 (2017). Apart from being a writer, Peterson has also worked as a voice actor for films such as Monsters, Inc. (2001), The Incredibles (2004), Cars (2006), Toy Story 3 (2010), and Cars 3 (2017) wherein he voiced the character of Chick Hicks.
