Best known for his association with the popular comedy TV show, The Kapil Sharma Show, Chandan Prabhakar is an Indian stand-up comedian, actor, and screenwriter. Having started his career as a standup comedian, he rose to fame with his participation in the comedy reality TV show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3 where he was the first runner-up. He further gained wide recognition and fame for collaborating with his best friend Kapil Sharma in The Kapil Sharma Show where he played various roles. Apart from TV, Chandan has also starred in many films, having made his debut on the silver screen with Power Cut (2011), he subsequently starred in films like Disco Singh (2014), and Judge Singh LLB (2015). His 2017 release includes Dangar Doctor Jelly (2017), which marks his debut as a film writer.
