Christopher Chris Miller is an American voice-over artist, animator and director. He graduated from the California Institute of Arts and joined DreamWorks Animation in 1998. He was a storyboard artist for films such as Antz (1998), Shrek (2001) and Shrek 2 (2004). Chris co-directed and wrote the screenplay for the film Shrek the Third (2007). Later, he provided the voice for Kowalski in the films Madagascar (2005),The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper (2005), Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008) and Merry Madagascar (2009) . His other movie credits include Puss in Boots (2011), The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017), Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (2018), The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019), Smurfs (2025) and Project Hail Mary (2026).
