Christopher Lambert (Lambert), born as Christophe Guy Denis Lambert, on March 29, 1957 in Long Island, New York, is an is an American-French actor. He was raised in Geneva from infancy, and moved to Paris during his teens. Lambert has had three failed marriages. His first marriage with actress Diane Lane lasted for six years (1988 - 1994) and the couple has a daughter together. His second marriage in 1999 with actress Jaiymse Haft ended in a divorce in 2006. Lambert married again in 2012 to actress Sophie Marceau but they got separated in 2014. He started his acting career in 1980 with small roles in various French movies. His made his English language acting debut in 1984 with the movie Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan. Lambert then went on to work in both American and French films, often action- thrillers. Several of his films include Subway (1985), Highlander (1986), To Kill a Priest (1988), Knight Moves (1992), Fortress (1993), Gunmen (1994) etc.
