Christopher Lawford (Lawford), born as Christopher Kennedy Lawford, on March 29, 1955, in Santa Monica, California, USA, is an American author, actor, and activist. In November 1984, Lawford married Jeannie Olsson, a sales advertising assistant for New York magazine but the couple divorced in 2000. They have three children together. He later got married in May 2014, to Mercedes Miller, a yoga teacher. Lawford has featured in many films like Slipstream, The World's Fastest Indian, Terminator 3, Blankman, The Russia House, The Doors, etc. In 2005, Lawford's memoir Symptoms of Withdrawal: A Memoir of Snapshots and Redemption was released and it became a New York Times Bestseller. In 2009,Lawford released his book, Moments of Clarity: Voices From the Front Lines of Addiction and Recovery. He is also a Public Advocacy Consultant for Caron Treatment Centers and has worked extensively in politics, government and the non-profit sector.
