Connie Inge-Lise Nielson is a Danish actress who made her debut in an English-language film with a supporting role in The Devil`s Advocate (1997) before eventually winning international fame for her role in the epic historical drama Gladiator (2000). Having started her acting career with the French feature film, the actress eventually moved to Hollywood.
Over the years, she starred in several popular films, including Mission to Mars (2000), The Great Raid (2005), A Shine of Rainbows (2009), 3 Days to Kill (2014), The Runner (2015), The Confessions (2016) and
The Catcher Was a Spy (2018). Along the way, she won several awards, including the Empire Award for Best Actress for her role in Gladiator. Her other releases include the American superhero film
