Early Life
Daniel Radcliffe is a British actor and theatre personality. His liaison with acting began at an early age. Daniel appeared in several theatrical works at school, before making his big screen debut as a child artist with David Copperfield (1999).
Career Highlights
Post his debut, he was next seen in The Tailor of Panama (2001). Daniel made his theater debut with The Play What I Wrote (2002) following which, he was cast in the lead role of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer`s Stone (2001). The film based on the popular book by J. K. Rowling turned out to be an instant hit with the masses. Following this success, the acclaimed actor went on to star in its record-breaking sequels such as Harry Potter and the Chambers Of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoners of Azkaban (2004), Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire (2005), Harry Potter and the Order Of the Phoenix (2007), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011). Daniel gained international fame and appreciation from masses as well as critics. While essaying the role of Harry Potter for 10 years, he appeared in other films such as December Boys (2007) and My Boy Jack (2007). He also performed in plays such as How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2011) and The Cripple of Inishmaan (2013 and 2014). Daniel was last seen in the films The Woman in Black (2012) and Kill Your Darlings (2013). Daniel`s recent projects include What If (2014), Horns (2014) and The F Word (2014). He now has the films Swiss Army Man and Now You See Me 2, lined up for a June, 2016 release.
