Dave Eggers is an American writer, editor, and publisher who is best known for writing the best-selling memoir A Heartbreak Work of Staggering Genius. The co-founder of McSweeney`s literary journal and the Vice of Witness, a human rights nonprofit organization is the writer of The Circle, which is adapted in a film releasing in April directed by James Ponsoldt.
