David Duchovny is an American actor, writer, and director, best known for his roles in The X-Files: Fight the Future (1998), The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008) and TV comedy-series Californication (2007-14), which earned him two Golden Globes, a Satellite Award and National Television Award.
