David Soren is a Canadian director, writer, voice actor, animator and storyboard artist who is best known for his animation works in the Madagascar film franchise. Soren who works at the renowned animation company Dream Works Animation made his debut on the silver screen as a storyboard artist with The Road to El Dorado (2000). His other notable film credits as an animation artist include Shrek (2001), Shark Take (2004), and Over the Hedge (2006). Soren made his directorial debut with Turbo (2013) and his 2017 directorial venture includes Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017). Apart from his work in the film industry, Soren has also directed and written for TV series` including Merry Madagascar (2009), and Madly Madagascar (2013).
