Dayanand Shetty (Shetty) is an Indian TV and film actor born on December 11th, 1969 in Katapadi, Karnataka (India). He is mostly known for playing senior Inspector in famous TV series C.I.D (1998Present) and made his Hindi film debut with Johnny Gaddaar (2007) and some other films like Runway (2009), Singham Returns (2014). He also appeared in TV reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa (season 4). He also won Gold Award for best supporting actor C.I.D (2012).
