American actress and singer Debby Ryan is best known for essaying the titular role in the popular Disney Channel sitcom Jessie (2011-2015), and for leading the indie rock and folk band The Never Ending. She started out as a child artist at the age of seven, working in professional theatre for several years before making her television debut with the long-running children's series Barney & Friends. In the following year, she made her feature film debut with the biographical comedy-drama sports movie The Longshots (2008).
Since her breakout role as Jessie Prescott in the comedy series Jessie, Ryan has appeared in a number of tv shows, notable among which are Girl Meets World, Daytime Divas and Insatiable. Other significant feature film credits include What If (2010), the teen drama Riptide (2017) and the comedy Life of the Party (2018).
