Denise Di Novi is an American film producer and director who is well known for producing movies like Heathers (1988), Edward Scissorhands (1990) and Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011). She has produced a lot of Tim Burton movies like Batman Returns (1992), The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), Ed Wood (1994) and James and the Giant Peach (1996). Her other works include Little Women (1994), Practical Magic (1998), Message in a Bottle (1999), A Walk to Remember (2002), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008), If I Stay (2014) and Focus (2015). She is making her directorial debut with Unforgettable (2017). The story is by Christina Hodson and David Leslie Johnson has worked on the screenplay. The movie cast includes Rosario Dawson, Katherine Heigl and Geoff Stults.

In 2020 she produced romantic drama Little Women. Directed by Greta Gerwig, the movie stars Saoirse Ronan, Emme Watson and Florence Pugh in prominent roles.
