Frank Capra was an Italian-American film director, producer andwriter. He had worked in more than 50 films as director and more than 40 films as writer. Capra is known for his work in It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and Arsenic and Old Lace. He won Oscar award thrice for Best Director for his work in You Can't Take It With You, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town and It Happened One Night. Capra won more than 10 awards and nominations.
