G. Ashok is an Indian film director, actor and choreographer who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. A trained classical dancer has learnt 13 different Indian classical dance forms and he has worked as a choreographer and dance assistant for more than 300 songs in Telugu films. Ashok who has worked with several renowned dance masters like Lawrence, DKS Babu, and Swarnalatha started his career in the film industry as an actor; he starred in more than 15 films as a child actor. He made his directorial debut with Aakasa Ramanna (2010). His other popular directorial ventures include Pilla Zamindar (2011), Sukumarudu (2013), Chitrangada (2017) and Bhaagamathie (2018). His 2020 release includes Durgamati.
