Gene Wilder is an American stage and screen comic actor, director, and screenwriter. He was best known for his title character in Mel Stuart's film adaptation of ‘Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory’. Gene's various acting credits include Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, The Producers and Something Wilder (TV Series). The actor won Lifetime Achievement Award at Las Vegas Film Critics Society Awards in 2002.
