George Cukor, also known as George Dewey Cukor, was anAmericanfilm director. He made his solo directorial debut withTarnished Lady in 1931. Cukor directed more than 60 films during his career. Cukor directed movies like My Fair Lady, Justine, A Star Is Born and Adam's Rib. Cukor won Oscar award for Best Directorin 1965 for My Fair Ladyand Golden Globe award for Best Motion Picture Director (My Fair Lady) in 1965. He has also won Primetime Emmy, BAFTA Film Award, DGA Award and many more.
