Having started his acting career with small roles on television, Gurunandan shot to fame with his performance in Asianet Suvarna`s popular series Lakumi. The Kannada television actor then made his movie debut with Cyber Yugadol Navayuva Prema Kavyam in 2014, which won him the SIIMA Award nomination for Best Male Debut. Following his debut, he was seen in movies like First Rank Raju, Chiravadu Nenapu, and Smile Please. His 2019 release includes Missing boy, directed by Missing Boy.
