Harish Shankar is a prominent Indian Director and Screenwriter who has been a mainstay in the Telugu film industry for over two decades. He began his career co-writing films such as Ninne Istapaddanu (2003), Bujjigadu (2008), Chintakayala Ravi (2008), and Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam (2009). As a Director, he made his mark with the action-comedy Shock (2006) and went on to helm major commercial successes including Mirapakay (2011), the blockbuster Gabbar Singh (2012), Ramayya Vasthavayya (2013), Subramanyam For Sale (2015), and Duvvada Jagannadham (2017).

Since 2019, he has continued to lead high-profile projects, directing the action-thriller Gaddalakonda Ganesh (2019) and the action-drama Mr. Bachchan (2024). His recent work includes serving as the Director and Writer for the action-drama Mass Jathara (2025) and the highly anticipated action-comedy Ustaad Bhagat Singh (2026).
