A Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Jacob Gregory is an Indian film actor who predominantly stars in Malayalam films. His first movie was the 2013 Malayalam comedy ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi, under the direction of Martin Prakkat, which starred Jacob as one of the leads opposite Dulquer Salmaan, Aparna Gopinath and Tovino Thomas. He was popular even before the movie for his character of Gregory in the popular Malayalam TV series titled Akkara Kazhchakal. Not only this, he also got various opportunities to perform shows based on Akkara Kazhchakal across United States, Canada, and the European Union.

He then went on feature opposite Dulquer Salmaan in few other popular movies like Salalah Mobiles in 2014, 100 Days of Love in 2015, and Jomonte Suvisheshangal in 2017. He has also appeared in the Mohanlal starrer Ennum Eppozhum (2015), in the role of a photographer named Maathan. Apart from Jomonte Suvisheshangal, Jacob`s other release in 2017 includes Parava, Soubin Shahir`s directorial debut, starring Shane Nigam, Arjun Ashokan and Zinil Zainudeen in the lead roles. He is associated with the 2018 Malayalam drama Kalyanam directed by Rajesh Nair. His 2019 release includes Unda, directed by Khalid Rahman.
