Jason Mantzoukas is an American comedic film and television actor, of Greek descent. He is best known for his role as Rafi in the television series, The League, and for the film, The Dictator. During his time in Middlebury College in Vermont, he began performing improvisational comedy, as part of the Otter Nonsense Players. In 1998, he started performing comedy regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, New York. Mantzoukas is widely known for his appearance in the comedy TV shows, The Life and Times of Tim, Parks and Recreation, Enlightened, Broad City, Kroll Show and Modern Family. He currently co-hosts How Did This Get Made?, the Earwolf podcast. Some of his critically acclaimed films include Terrorists (2004), Baby Mama (2008), I Hate Valentine`s Day (2009), Conception (2011), Ashley (2011), Neighbors (2014), Sleeping with Other People (2015) and Dirty Grandpa (2016). For several years, Jason performed with comedian Ed Herbstman as comedy duo The Mantzoukas Brothers, and they were named `Best Improv Duo` by the magazine, Time Out New York, in 2006. He also co-wrote the screenplay for the films, Ice Cube (2014) and Ride Along. In 2017 he worked in the movie The House. His 2019 release includes John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum.
