Jayaraj Nair is an award-winning Indian filmmaker in the Malayalam film industry, whose notable work includes movies like Highway (1995), 4 the People (2004), Daivanamathil (2005), Loudspeaker (2009), Pakarnnattam (2012) and Ottaal (2015). He is also a film writer and producer. His 2017 directorial venture includes the epic historical drama Veeram, starring Kunal Kapoor in the lead.
