After appearing in a number of Punjabi music videos, Jimmy Sharma bagged his first project Mar Jawan Gur Khake in 2010, which won him the PTC Punjabi Film Award nomination for Best Debut. He was then seen in Rahe Chardi Kala Punjabi Di before he won the Most Promising Actor Award at Punjabi Cinema Golden Honours for his performance in Oye Hoye Pyar Ho Gaya. He then made his Hindi movie debut with the Rakhi Sawant-starrer thriller Ek Kahani Julie Ki in 2016, playing one of the lead roles. His other projects include 25 Kille and Raktdhar. His 2017 release includes Bhangover.
