Johnathon Schaech is an American writer, director and actor who gained popularity with Tom Hanks’ directorial debut That Thing You Do! (1996). His other acting chops include Poison Ivy II (1996), Prom Night (2008), Quarantine (2008) and Marauders (2015). His TV roles include Time of Your Life (1999), The Client List (2012), Ray Donovan (2013), Star-Crossed (2014), Sleepy Hollow (2015) and Quantico (2015). He played the role of Jimmy Mattingly. Schaech portrays Jonah Hex on The CW’s DC superhero series, Legends of Tomorrow (2016). Schaech was married to Jana Kramer and Christina Applegate. In July 2013 he married Julie Solomon. They have one child.
